Suzuki road machines.
For the man who wants to
go places.
The liquid'cooled Suzuki 750.
Hot stuff.
Have you ever driven that
long blur of ground between the
Rockies and the Mississippi?
Or Route 66 across the Texas
panhandle. Or down through the
Appalachians into cotton country.
Then you know what kind of
riding the GT75O is designed for.
GT-750 is a touring machine.
A cruiser. A two-wheeled limousine.
But there’s an important difference
between the GT-750 and other
touring machines.
Liquid-cooling.
See that thing that looks like
a radiator behind the front wheel?
It’s a radiator. Just like a car
radiator. Complete wdth a thermo-
stat and water pump.
Everybody knows a radiator
helps an engine keep cool. But on
a 2-cycle engine, it also makes it
smoother, quieter, and more
dependable.
Smoother because piston to
cylinder tolerances are closer.
(About .002w instead of .015
Quieter because the water
jackets muffle piston noise.
More dependable because
water cooling eliminates the need
for wide air fins. So both the engine
and crankshaft are narrower.
With less flex and vibration in
the crankshaft.
Of course the GT-7 50 has a lot
more than liquid cooling going
for it. Like dual hydraulic front disc
brakes. Electric starting. Heavy-
duty 5-way adjustable

A new synchronized linkage
keeps all three carburetors locked
in tune. An electronic digital
gear indicator lights up in the
instrument cluster to show
what gear you’re in.
Of course you get the CC1
automatic lubrication system. And
a warranty for 12 months or
12,000 miles?
But the thing that really
separates the Suzuki GT-750 from
the rest of the pack is liquid
cooling. H2O

185 to 550. How far
do you want to go?
A train whistle in the night.
A clear blue summer morning.
A flight of geese on a crisp
autumn day.
Some things touch a nerve
deep inside that makes you want
to grab your jacket, get on your
Suzuki and ride a long, long way.
We know the feeling. And
we’ve built these machines to get
you there.
The specification chart will
show you model by model
differences. But there are some
important features common to all
these Suzuki road machines.
Like CC1 (Crankcase Cylinder
Injection) automatic lubrication.
It does two things: one, it meters
the exact amount of oil for the
gas/oil mixture required at
different engine speeds; and two,
CCI sends a flow of oil to bathe the main
bearing on the left side of the crankshaft.
This year, all our road
machines have locking gas caps.
And our three-cylinder machines
have two important new features:
electronic digital gear indicator
in the instrument cluster that
lights up to show you what gear
you’re in, and a special synchro-
nized linkage that keeps all three
carburetors locked in tune.
Every one of these machines
accelerates fast enough to bring
tears to your eyes. And they stop
fast. And lean through curves
without a shimmy or a second
thought.
And they’re comfortable.
You can ride for hours without
getting a sore tailbone or cramps
in your legs.
And they all have a warranty
for 12 months or 12,000 miles*
Now the only question is,
which Suzuki road machine is
right for you. Or as we said before,
how far do you want to go?
on all
the twin-cylinder T-500) scoops
in the wind and blows it over the
cylinder heads. It keeps things
cool. And quiet. (The shroud has
a coating of insulation inside).
Ram Air is especially important
on the three-cylinder GT-380 and
GT-550 since the middle cylinder
gets heat from both sides. It keeps
heat distortion at a minimum.
